Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) is a public technical university specialising in engineering and technology-based education. Established to support Malaysia’s industrial and technological development, the university operates multiple campuses across Perlis, serving students from across the country and abroad.
Visitors commonly come to UniMAP for academic matters, official events, convocations, and family visits, rather than leisure activities. The campus environment is functional and purpose-driven, with facilities designed to support education, research, and administrative services.
While not a tourist destination, UniMAP plays an important role in shaping the social and economic landscape of Perlis, contributing to local life through education, events, and community engagement.
